Phikelelani, also known as Lelani Canava, is a Computer Science student at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) with practical experience in back-end development and mobile app design. Passionate about using technology to empower rural learners and create lasting social impact, he brings both technical expertise and purpose-driven energy to the IkusasaLentsha team. Lelani's skill set includes Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, MySQL, and Dart, allowing him to build innovative solutions that address real-world challenges. He joined IkusasaLentsha as a volunteer in April 2023, and his dedication and leadership quickly stood out. In December 2023, he was promoted to Project Coordinator, where he successfully led school outreach programs aimed at informing and inspiring learners. By December 2024, Lelani’s impact and tech capabilities earned him the role of Web Administrator, where he now manages and enhances the organization’s online presence. His journey reflects a commitment to both personal growth and community upliftment, making him a key asset to the IkusasaLentsha mission.
